These colorful handmade pouches were made from beach umbrellas, we collected from the New York City’s beaches.
After they have been swiped by the relentless sea breeze, the umbrellas inevitably end up in the trash.
During the summers of 2016 and 17, we salvaged hundreds of them. They were washed and brought to the studio, to become these fun looking pouches.
Made with 100% polyester, dimensions may vary a little bit but they are mostly around 8 1/2” x 7 ¾”. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Surfrider Foundation.
